Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CleaningsOps iOS and Android mobile application (the "App", together the "Service"), which manages cleaning bookings, holiday-home units, cleaners, client companies, linen records, issues, notes, job photos, in-app notifications, and related operational records. The Service is operated by Gevorg Narinyan, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. CleaningsOps is the product and trading name only. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and authorised business use

The Service is intended exclusively for business use by holiday-home cleaning operators, their staff, and their client companies. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised by an operating company or client company to use the Service. Personal, consumer, or non-commercial use is not permitted.

3. Account registration and security

• Accounts are provisioned by an authorised company administrator. You may not create an account by impersonating another person or company.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share your account.
• You are responsible for all activity performed under your account and for the accuracy of information you submit.
• Notify your administrator and support@cleaningsops.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. User roles

Access to features is governed by the role assigned to your account:

• Admin — full configuration of the operating company, units, staff, clients, bookings, linen, and reports.
• Supervisor — scheduling, assignment, approvals, and oversight of cleaning operations.
• Cleaner — execution of assigned jobs, photo uploads, linen counts, notes, and issue reporting.
• Client company user — submission and tracking of bookings for units belonging to that client company.

You must use the Service only within the scope of your role.

5. Bookings, scheduling, and cancellations

• Client users may submit booking requests for their units. Requests require approval by an admin or supervisor before becoming scheduled jobs.
• Admins and supervisors may assign, reassign, reschedule, or cancel jobs in accordance with operational needs.
• Cancellations and modifications close to the scheduled time may not be reflected immediately on every device. You must check the current job status in the Service before relying on it.
• The Service is a coordination tool. It does not itself perform the cleaning, and successful delivery depends on the operating company and assigned staff.

6. Cleaning records, photos, linen, and reports

• Cleaners record before/after photos, notes, linen quantities issued and returned, and issues observed during each job.
• These records are visible to authorised users of the relevant operating company and client company, subject to role-based access controls.
• Reports aggregate operational data (jobs completed, linen balance, issues, etc.) for internal operational use.
• You agree to record information accurately and not to misstate quantities, times, or job outcomes.

7. Offline use

The App can queue job status updates, notes, linen movements, and issues created while your device is offline and sync them once connectivity is restored. Photos are not queued or retried automatically — they must be uploaded while the device is online. You are responsible for confirming that your work has synced.

8. User content and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, notes, issue reports, booking details). You grant the operating company, the relevant client company, and CleaningsOps a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and process that content solely to operate and audit cleaning services and to provide and improve the Service. We process content as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Prohibited conduct

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
• Accessing data, jobs, units, or photos that do not belong to your company or are not assigned to you.
• Uploading content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, infringes third-party rights, or shows identifiable individuals without their consent.
• Uploading content unrelated to the assigned cleaning job, including personal photos.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, probing, or interfering with the Service, its infrastructure, or its security controls.
• Using the Service to send unsolicited messages or to harvest data about other users.

10. Notifications

The Service shows in-app notifications about jobs, approvals, and status changes while you are using the App.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on Supabase as its database, authentication, and private object storage provider, and on Apple and Google for app distribution and standard operating-system services. Their availability, terms, and policies are outside our control and may affect the Service.

12. Availability and data accuracy

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Scheduled maintenance and synchronisation delays between devices may cause information to appear out of date for short periods. You are responsible for confirming critical information (such as job timing and assignment) in the Service before acting on it.

13. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Gevorg Narinyan and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service within the scope of your assigned role.

14. Suspension and termination

We or your company administrator may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected unauthorised use, risk to other users, or at the instruction of the operating company or client company. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately while operational records remain with the relevant company subject to the Privacy Policy.

15. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account from inside the App (Account → Delete account) or, as described on the Account deletion page, by email. Operational records attributable to your work may be retained by the operating company for legal, audit, and billing purposes, with personal identifiers removed or replaced where appropriate.

16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gevorg Narinyan (operating as CleaningsOps) disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Gevorg Narinyan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The aggregate liability of Gevorg Narinyan for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if no fees were paid.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gevorg Narinyan (operating as CleaningsOps) from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you submit.

18. Changes to the service and terms

We may modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and the "Last updated" date above will change. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of the Emirate of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
